Rapé pronounced Ha-pey in Brazil is a tobacco based medicinal snuff used by the Huni Kun tribe.

Amazing! I have trouble with tobacco based as it build up in nasal, but I usually do netra basti before. Ash (potash/ carbon) base is wonderful as if left in place overnight it yields good effect.Lime hits nice as alternative to tobacco, but I have yet to try calcined snail shells as in yopo. Nevertheless, a surprise that charcoal smelling ash yields benefit when imbibed with other essences and prepared with intention.
